The Memory Boosting Smoothie

Take this energy boosting smoothie along with you in a mason jar.


1Place all ingredients into a blender and blend until smooth


Targeted nutrients can help boost energy.

1. Blueberries - great source of antioxidants to support brain function

2. Banana - vitamin A (antioxidant) potassium (supports healthy blood pressure) - PLUS, helps to stimulate the product of the 'feel good' brain chemical, dopamine.

3. Filtered water - aids hydration

4. Kefir or Yogourt (good bacteria to support microflora in the gut which helps reduce inflammation in the body and brain) **Kefir has a much higher count of good bacteria**

5. Coconut oil - good sources of ketones, fuel for the brain.

6. Chia seeds is a very good source of Omega 3 Fatty Acids, which help reduce inflammation plus chia seeds are a gentle fibre

7. Avocado is a great source of Vitamin E (Antioxidant) and good fats


1/2 cup frozen blueberries

1/2 ripe banana

2 tablespoons ripe avocado

3/4 cup filtered water

1 tablespoon plain kefir or plain organic full fat yogourt

1 tablespoon coconut oil

1 teaspoon chia seeds
