Turmeric Tea Latte

A Turmeric Latte is a deliciously warming drink to enjoy anytime! Turmeric's active ingredient curcumin possesses potent anti-inflammatory and antioxidant properties. Make extra and store in the fridge - re-heat gently on the stove.

Directions

1Place water, turmeric, ginger, cinnamon and clove in a small saucepan and bring to a boil

2Reduce heat and simmer for 15 - 20 minutes, with the lid on.

3Stir in coconut milk (optional)

4Heat and serve

Ingredients

3/4 cup filtered water

1 teaspoon turmeric powder or 1 tablespoon grated fresh turmeric root

1 teaspoon freshly grated ginger, (or more if you really like it)

1/4 teaspoon cinnamon

1 clove

2-3 peppercorns (pepper helps your cells to absorb nutrients)

1 teaspoon raw honey (optional)

1/4 cup milk of choice: Organic, full fat, unsweetened homemade or canned coconut milk (or) Full fat, organic, grass-fed cow's milk (or raw if you can get it!)
