2 large servings or 3 small servings
1Heat oil in large pot.
2Add ginger and onion. Saute over medium heat for 5 minutes
3Add carrots and cabbage. Stir well
4Add water, bring to a boil over high heat
5Add herbamare and taste
6Place miso in a bowl, add a little broth from the soup, and stir in a smooth paste.
7Add miso paste to the soup.
8Let rest for a few minutes
9Serve in bowls with chopped raw scallions
2 tablespoons coconut oil
4 slices fresh ginger root, thinly sliced
1 large red onion, thinly sliced
2 carrots, peeled and thinly sliced
4 cup coarsely chopped cabbage
5 cups water
4 tablespoons miso (dark or light)
1 tablespoon kelp flakes (available at health food stores or health food sections of your grocery store)
2 green onion chopped
Herbamare to taste (Sea salt with vegetable herb and spice blend)
