Energy Boosting Chicken Liver Pate

Chicken liver is one of the healthiest foods on the planet. Great source of iron and certain B Vitamins including Vitamin B12 and choline which helps with memory and boosting energy. It's also a good source of Vitamin A which helps with wound healing and eye health and CoQ10 a powerful antioxidant.

Bone Broth

TIPS:

Bone broth can be frozen and used later instead of water to make grains, soups and stews. Keeps in the freezer for up to 6 months.

I like to cook the broth all day for one day then place in a cool spot (garage/bucket of ice/refrigerator) over night then cook it for another day.

Healthy Chicken Nuggets

You don't have to stop feeding your children their favourite foods - just make it from scratch with wholesome, nutrient dense ingredients.

Flash Freeze: To flash freeze, place chicken nuggets on a cookie sheet place in the freezer for 2 hours or so, then place in a freezer bag or container. To re-heat, pre-heat oven to 400F and heat up nuggets for about 15-20 minutes until sizzling and hot.

Homemade French Fries

Yup! French Fries can be healthy if made with good oil, organic potatoes and good quality sea salt. Make extra and flash freeze them for another day...

Flash Freeze: When the fries are almost cooked completely. Freeze them by spreading them out on a baking sheet or tray, then packing them in airtight containers or freezer bags or wrapping with foil or plastic wrap for longer storage. Cook from frozen in a 400 F oven for 15 minutes or so, turning once half way through cooking.

Spaghetti Sauce – 2 Ways: Meat & Vegetarian

Delicious and nutritious - this recipe will make lots, so freeze it in appropriate serving sizes for another day. You'll never eat jar sauce again!

I like to serve this with gluten free pasta or better yet make it paleo friendly with zucchini noodles!

Keep in mind the serving size of the pasta should be no more than 1/3 of the plate the rest should be non-starchy veggies, such as a salad, broccoli, cauliflower....

Cilantro or Basil Pesto

Check out this yummy detoxing/energy boosting recipe.  If using cilantro it helps to reduce the buildup of metals like mercury in the body.  Garlic contains sulfur which helps your liver detoxify itself of heavy metals like lead and arsenic. Nutritional yeast is one of the best food sources of energy boosting B Vitamins.

If using basil, you will benefit from plant compounds that have antioxidant, anti-inflammatory and other health properties

Serving Suggestions:
1. Toss with some good quality organic pasta
